What are some of the common signs of vision problems?
If you, or a member of your family, is experiencing any of the following symptoms, it is recommended a vision analysis be scheduled as soon as possible.
When should I have my eyes examined?
The appropriate amount of time between eye examinations will differ from person to person, and your optometrist will advise you on how often you will need to return for check ups. However, regular check ups are important, as eye-conditions often develop in a slow and subtle way, making early detection important.
If you have any concerns or questions about your vision, or you are due for a check up, don't hesitate to

How does age affect 'normal' vision?
Different vision conditions commonly effect people at different ages. For example, short-sightedness often develops in teenagers. People in their 40s will gradually loose the ability to focus the lens within the eye. This natural condition is called presbyopia, and it effects people from their 40s to their 60s. A period of eye lens hardening commonly effects people in their 60s, resulting in greater near-sightedness. Cataracts frequently occur when people reach their 70s, though they can occur earlier.
